Seriously funny, funnily serious: TOYTOY. This Hamburg Musicians Collective delve into a treasure-trove of global experience from the in- ternational playground. World-wide tours with acts such as Nils Landgren, Maria Joao, Chet Faker, Fünf Sterne Delux/Das Bo, Flo Mega, JRBB, Matthias Schriefl, Fiva, Urban Academy and Wootton’s Toystory indicate the players' eclectic cartography. Now they calibrate their instruments afresh for their own musical expedition. The parameters are the freedom of jazz, the variety of urban sub-cultures, boundless technique and incorrigible creativity.
